Gauge Repair
NWTS knows that your nuclear density gauge is a significant source of revenue and service to your clients. When your nuclear density gauge breaks down, we will work to return it to you in the shortest time possible. Let us know your requirements and we will do what it takes to meet them.
Precision Calibration
The nuclear gauge calibration service includes but is not limited to
1. Full mechanical inspection
2. Cleaning and lubrication
3. Tube signal inspection and adjustment
4. Relabeling of transport case.
* More details on our methods and procedures for nuclear gauge calibration are available upon request. The nuclear gauge calibration service keeps your gauge testing accurately throughout the year. It is recommended that your nuclear density gauge be calibrated and serviced annually.
Pick-Up & Delivery
For your convenience, NWTS offers pick-up and delivery of your nuclear density gauge. If your nuclear density gauge needs immediate attention, feel free to bring it directly to the Service Center and we will get to work on it right away. Call before coming in to confirm we are available to meet you.
Trained and Certified
NWTS personnel have been trained and certified by CPN in Concord, CA, by Instrotek in Las Vegas, NV and by OSCS of Cleburne, TX in all aspects of nuclear gauge calibration and repair. We are audited regularly by our accreditation body to insure we are constantly improving.
Three Block Precision Nuclear Gauge Calibration
Nuclear density gauges are calibrated on standard density blocks manufactured by CPN International. These standards are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. They are reevaluated every five years for accuracy per the ASTM requirements. The standard blocks cover the full range of densities and moisture content that your personnel will experience in the field. The nuclear gauge calibration procedure is in compliance with ASTM D7759.

North West Technical Services began in 2006 near Seattle, Washington.

We’re your one-stop-shop for all your nuclear density gauge-related needs. Whether you need a brand new or refurbished gauge, calibration, or repairs, you’ll love our great service.
Not only that, but we also feature a complete selection of parts and accessories for your convenience. That way you’ll have everything you need to do your job at maximum efficiency! For your convenience, we feature optional pickup and delivery for your gauges. If you’ve got a gauge with a serious problem, feel free to have it dropped off directly at our service center.
